  • Installation en mode ferme

    4 février 2011, par

    Le mode ferme permet d’héberger plusieurs sites de type MediaSPIP en n’installant qu’une seule fois son noyau fonctionnel.
    C’est la méthode que nous utilisons sur cette même plateforme.
    L’utilisation en mode ferme nécessite de connaïtre un peu le mécanisme de SPIP contrairement à la version standalone qui ne nécessite pas réellement de connaissances spécifique puisque l’espace privé habituel de SPIP n’est plus utilisé.

  • Convert mp3 -> Video with static image ( ffmpeg/libav & BASH )

    19 août 2014, par Max

    Some years ago I used the following bash script to get a video out of mp3’s and one image (so the image in the video was freezed over the length of the mp3), which worked out fine.

    i=0;
    for file in *.mp3;
    do
    i=$((i+1));
    ffmpeg -loop 1 -shortest -y -i image.jpg -i $file -acodec copy -vcodec libx264 $file.flv;
    done

    Now I wanted to use this again for doing the same.

    Problem :

    It does not stop converting at the end of the mp3. Means the current mp3 file eg. has a length of 3 minutes and the script converts until forever or I stop it, so the length of the flv is much bigger than 3 minutes.

    (ffmpeg is installed, but with libav the same happens)

    Output :

  • capture DV video and audio with ffmpeg and dshow

    18 novembre 2016, par andrixnet

    Trying to capture video and audio from a DV camera, using ffmpeg, I got into a problem.
    Before anything, I first tried to see (and hear) with ffplay.

    ffmpeg version :

    I can use VLC with "Capture device" as input, selecting "Microsoft DV Camera and VCR" as video device and leaving "Default" as audio device and I get both video and audio.

    With ffmpeg I get only video stream, no audio.

    C:\>ffplay -hide_banner -f dshow -i video="Microsoft DV Camera and VCR"

    I don’t know how to tell ffmpeg the equivalent of "Default" audio device as VLC recognizes it.

    Device options show there are 2 pins for video device (DV device has both video and audio) but how can I tell ffmpeg such that it captures both video and audio ?

  • video after ffmpeg command conversion is not playing on windows

    10 décembre 2015, par Hemant Kumar

    I am stuck at a very weird and complex problem, hoping if anyone know the solution :

    I am converting user uploaded video using ffmpeg command on server and it was working fine as well. Today I found that if a video is recorded by a webcam from windows, is playing well in linux as well as on windows where as if user is creating a video by webcam from linux, is playing only on linux (any browser). On window it’s screen either show loading icon or black screen while audio is working fine.

    I am using following codec :

    ['-strict', '-2', '-preset slow', '-maxrate 500k', '-bufsize 1000k', vfOption, '-threads 0', '-ab 64k', '-movflags faststart','-vf scale=-1:480', '-metadata:s:v:0 rotate=0', '-vcodec libx264']

    I work on linux and using html5 player on my website. I am converting video in mp4 format.

    Input :

    ffmpeg -i /<server path="path">/stream_FE2AF05B-E630-1F7B-390B-37325B31B362.flv -strict -2 -vcodec libx264 -preset slow -vb 500k -maxrate 500k -bufsize 1000k -vf 'scale=-1:480 ' -threads 0 -ab 64k -s 640x480 -movflags faststart -metadata:s:v:0 rotate=0 /<server path="path">/testing.mp4
