How to merge multiple video files into one video only
1er août 2017, par shamaleyteI have multiple webm video files of a conference call.
However, each participant joined the call at a different time which resulted in the fact that each video file has a different startTimeOffset values.Video Start Time
Video1 : 00:00
Video2 : 00:10
Video3 : 01:40
My purpose is to play back this conference. However, I do not record the conference as 1 video, it is recorded with multiple video files, instead.
Is there any best practice to stitch such videos accordingly ?
Maybe by ffmpeg library ?There is also a paid solution ; https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2016/11/amazon-elastic-transcoder-adds-support-for-clip-stitching/ ) to merge video fragments to a single clip, this will make the client-side much simpler. But any free practice of doing it ?
The expected outcome is to have 1 video showing 3 videos in a grid.
When ffmpeg stitches the videos, it should consider their start time values properly so that the videos are played accordingly. -
net core and video transcoding on aws lambda
14 septembre 2022, par user1765862I'm looking for a solution to :

-

- upload video to s3 bucket
- after video upload an aws lambda function will be triggered
- lambda function will use ffmpeg layer in order to transcode video (mainly cropping with other functionalities)
- save result (transcoded video into s3 bucket)

My language of choice inside lambda is c# and net core runtime.

I have found various resources for video manipulation with aws ffmpeg layer using lambda function but no examples in net core lambda.

My question is :

Can I use existing FFmpeg/FFprobe Lambda Layer for Amazon Linux such
as this one with lambda function written in c# and .net core ?

Another question :

Would you suggest Amazon Elastic Transcoder as a better choice with
lambda function .net core integration ?

How do I get the output from an ASIO device to IceCast2 or FFMpeg ?
13 novembre 2015, par SaneetI have an ASIO device (Presonus Firestudio 2626). I am using it to mix and create different outputs on all of it’s provided outputs (about 9 outputs like ADT1, ADT2). I need someway to stream these outputs using either IceCast or FFMpeg RTP.
One of the problems is that I have a restriction on using only a MAC or a Windows machine as my ASIO device does not provide drivers for ubuntu.
What are the ways that I can connect the ASIO device outputs to IceCast or FFMpeg ?
I’ve tried the following.
Windows :
Jack - LiquidSoap - IceCast
Problem is that LiquidSoap on windows does not work with Jack.
Virtual Audio Cable - Butt - IceCast
Virtual Audio Cable was very inefficient. More than 2 streams and it crashes.Mac :
Jack - DarkIce - IceCast
Jack doesn’t work on Mac versions above Snow Leopard. Can someone help me with which tools I should use and how I can do this ?
I’m a complete novice on this so please provide some details.
