    Le plugin de Gestion de mutualisation permet de gérer les différents canaux de mediaspip depuis un site maître. Il a pour but de fournir une solution pure SPIP afin de remplacer cette ancienne solution.
    Installation basique
    On installe les fichiers de SPIP sur le serveur.
    On ajoute ensuite le plugin "mutualisation" à la racine du site comme décrit ici.
    On customise le fichier mes_options.php central comme on le souhaite. Voilà pour l’exemple celui de la plateforme mediaspip.net :

    Jolie sélection multiple
    Le plugin Chosen permet d’améliorer l’ergonomie des champs de sélection multiple. Voir les deux images suivantes pour comparer.
    Il suffit pour cela d’activer le plugin Chosen (Configuration générale du site > Gestion des plugins), puis de configurer le plugin (Les squelettes > Chosen) en activant l’utilisation de Chosen dans le site public et en spécifiant les éléments de formulaires à améliorer, par exemple select[multiple] pour les listes à sélection multiple (...)

    MediaSPIP utilise le plugin Menus pour gérer plusieurs menus configurables pour la navigation.
    Cela permet de laisser aux administrateurs de canaux la possibilité de configurer finement ces menus.

  • Transcode WEBM to RTMP

    Summary

    My goal is to take a webcam stream from the browser and feed it into a program called Restreamer that takes in an RTMP stream.

    &#xA;

    I've deduced that the browser Recording API produces Blobs that can be saved as WEBM.

    &#xA;

    In order to stream the WEBM content to Restreamer I am attempting to use FFmpeg. I've read that forcing FLV format is required but otherwise all of the arguments are Greek to me. I've been unable to find a comparable topic where someone has tried to go from WEBM to RTMP. I have found examples of going the other direction, but reversing the FFmpeg command proved unfruitful.

    &#xA;

    Saving to FLV works fine. Using the following command, I am able to transcode a WEBM file to FLV and play it on VLC :
    &#xA;ffmpeg -i ~/big-buck-bunny_trailer.webm -f flv out.flv

    However, if instead of outputting to a file I pass it to RTMP I get the following output :

    There are several interesting rabbit holes to follow here, but after following all of them I've come up with nothing.

    &#xA;

    HandShake: client signature does not match! :
    &#xA;More of a warning than an error, I assumed because I was going from "WEBM -> FLV" instead of the more traditional "MP4 -> FLV".

    &#xA;

    av_interleaved_write_frame(): Operation not permitted :
    &#xA;I found several issues on this. One of them calling it a storage issue, the other calling it a file permissions issue. I have plenty of disk space and have tried setting the input file to 777 permissions. However, the examples I've found on it being a file permissions issue all deal with outputting to a file rather than to an an RTMP IP.

    &#xA;

    Failed to update header with correct duration :
    &#xA;Advice I found was to add -flvflags no_duration_filesize to the command, which does suppress both "Failed to update..." errors, but does not fix the over-arching issue.

    &#xA;

    What I've Tried

    &#xA;

    • Multi-format transcoding

    &#xA;

    MP4 to RTMP does work correctly :
    &#xA;ffmpeg -i ~/Downloads/big-buck-bunny_trailer.mp4 -f flv "rtmp://example.com/live"
    &#xA;Theoretically, I could stream the WEBM to a file, transcode that to an MP4 file, and then transcode that to FLV/RTMP. Sounds awful.

    &#xA;

    • Pay for a service (Wowza, Flashphoner, api.video, etc)

    &#xA;

    Unfortunately precisely what I am trying to avoid.

    &#xA;

    • WebRTC to RTMP ?

    &#xA;

    WebRTC seems to be a peer-to-peer connection and doesn't play nicely with a server/client scenario.

    &#xA;

    • WebRTC to other ingest formats

    &#xA;

    Restreamer also supports incoming streams of HLS, DASH, RTP, RTSP, RTMP, and SRT. However, these all seem to be examples of network sources that would be exposed via an IP URL. I am not sure that FFmpeg can do that.

    &#xA;

    • Utilizing ffmpeg-wasm instead of CLI

    &#xA;

    Available here, I thought that maybe by using a browser implementation I may get different results. But no. Not even an error to the console.

    &#xA;

    • Streaming from OBS

    &#xA;

    For the record, yes, I have tried streaming from OBS instead of going through FFmpeg and the Restreamer platform itself does work for normal use. I use it often.

    I've not been able to find any relevant solutions online. I am shocked that streaming from a browser webcam has not been solved 1000 times prior. This is related to a question made 7 years ago but it was not resolved and Flash is no longer an option.

    Gmail alternatives

    Google only encrypts emails via STARTTLS. In other words, your data isn’t end-to-end encrypted and can be decrypted by them at any time. Gmail also has a history of allowing third-party app developers that work with Gmail to access private and personal Gmail messages for their own market research purposes.

    ProtonMail

    ProtonMail is a secure, open-source email service that provides end-to-end encryption, so only the sender and receiver can access the messages. Proton deliberately doesn’t possess the key needed to decrypt any part of the message, so you know your sensitive business information is always private. 

    To protect users from digital surveillance, they also provide enhanced tracking protections and don’t rely on ads, so your data isn’t mined for advertising purposes.     Tutanota is an open-source email service known as one of the first to offer end-to-end encryption. Stringent security, in addition to TOTP and U2F for two-factor authentication means you control who has access to your email and messages. 

    It requires no phone number or personal information to register for a free account. In addition, Tutanota doesn’t earn money through ads, its servers are based in Europe and it is fully GDPR compliant.

    The GDPR emphasises end-to-end encryption as a safeguard against data leaks, but Google Drive isn’t end-to-end encrypted, so Google has access to the data on its servers. 

    In their privacy policy, they also state that this data can be analysed for advertising purposes, so although you’re using “free” Cloud storage, users need to be aware that they’re paying for this by giving Google access to any and all data stored in Google Drive.

    Nextcloud works on your own server, so you can access and share your data wherever you are. It’s a file hosting service that lets you store files, sync them across your devices and collaborate with others on projects. 

    It also provides encryption for all the files that you store on its servers, so you can rest assured that no one can see your information without your permission.

    Syncthing is a free, open-source file synchronisation program that allows you to store and access your files wherever you are. It’s designed to be fast, secure and easy to use, making it a great alternative to Google Drive. 

    With Syncthing, you can sync files across multiple computers and mobile devices at once. So if you create, delete or modify files on one machine, they will automatically be replicated on other devices. Data is saved directly to a location you choose, so you can securely backup your data without needing a third-party cloud service.

    Google states they can “collect information” from Google-hosted content such as Docs by means of automated scanning. 

    Not only does this stoke spying fears, it also raises concerns over who holds power over your content. If they look through your docs and decide that you’ve violated their terms of service, you can get locked out of your Google Docs – as was the case when a National Geographic crime reporter had her story “frozen” by Google.

    The open-source nature ensures security as the code is constantly improved and scouted for vulnerabilities.

    Like Google Docs, Nextcloud Office lets you create new documents and spreadsheets and collaborate with teammates or colleagues. But unlike Google Docs, Nextcloud doesn’t collect any data on who is using its platform, or what they’re doing on it. You can even encrypt the files you store in Nextcloud, so no one else can see them unless you give them access to your account.

    Standard Notes is an open-source online notebook app that offers a variety of useful features, such as tasks, to-dos and spreadsheets. 

    Unlike Google Keep, which has access to your notes, Standard Notes is end-to-end encrypted, which protects all your information and keeps it securely synced across all your devices.
