    I am trying to use filter_complex from ffmpeg to stich several video input together into one output.

    I use v4l2loopback to create a virtual video device :

    sudo modprobe v4l2loopback video_nr=90

    In this example, i first try with only one camera :

    What is Data Privacy Day ?

    Wikipedia tells us that : The purpose of Data Privacy Day is to raise awareness and promote privacy and data protection best practices.

    Our personal data is our online identity. When you think what personal data means – our phone records, credit card transactions, GPS position, IP addresses, browsing history and so much more. All so valuable and personal to us as human beings.

    That’s why we cannot take our personal data online for granted. We have a right to know which websites collect our data and how it’s then used, something that’s often not visible or easily recognisable when browsing.

    What Data Privacy Day means to Matomo

    Every year the team at Matomo uses this day as a chance to reflect on how far the Matomo (formerly Piwik) project has come. But then also reflect how far we still have to go in spreading the message that our data and personal information online matters.

    2018 saw the introduction of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to protect people’s data online. As a team, Matomo was at the forefront of this development in the analytics space and have since built a GDPR Manager to ensure our users can be fully compliant with the GDPR.

    With every new release of Matomo, we are ensuring that security continues to be at the highest standard and we will continue to be committed to our bug bounty program.   • ffmpeg, v4l, snd_aloop ... sound asyncron (alsa buffer xrun)

    I’m trying to create a stream that automatically reloads random inputs. I would like to extend this to a database later.

    Each time ffmpeg finishes and starts again, so the input changes, the connection to the rtmp is interrupted briefly causing the whole connection breaks down. I then tried to separate audio and video, to send them to virtual devices and read from there again. Split the stream on virtual devices, reassemble them directly and send them to rtmp. If the input is then exchanged, the sending to the devices interrupts what does not bother the second ffmpeg. As soon as I stop sending to the devices the fps go very slowly (10 - 20 sec) from 25 to 0. Only then does the transmitter ffmpeg break the connection to the rtmp. The script which exchanges the inputs needs only one second. A practical test showed that everything works as desired.

    I can quite comfortably change the input while the second ffmpeg maintains the stream ...

    The joy did not last long. The sound is good 1 sec delayed. But sporadically. Sometimes everything works great. Sometimes the sound is offset.

    I wrote several scripts for this.

    Background :

    1. File is selected by random
    2. Media file is split and written to / dev / video0 (v4l loopback) and alsa default (snd_aloop loopback)
    3. Put the splits together again and stream them to a rtmp server
