ffmpeg generating out of sync audio/video file
2 mars 2013, par marcelorocksI am trying to convert a flv video to mp4 using a264, but the result video has a out of sync audio/video. Audio seems ok but video seems slow and therefore out of sync. I am a newbie on video conversion so any help is appreciated.
Here is the command I am running :
/opt/local/bin/ffmpeg -i complaint.flv -f mp4 -vcodec libx264 -acodec aac -copyts -strict experimental -fpre /opt/local/share/ffmpeg/libx264-lossless_slow.ffpreset -ab 44k -threads 0 -crf 23 complaint.mp4
And the printout :
Desktop /opt/local/bin/ffmpeg -i complaint.flv -f mp4 -vcodec libx264 -acodec aac -copyts -strict experimental -fpre /opt/local/share/ffmpeg/libx264-lossless_slow.ffpreset -ab 44k -threads 0 -crf 23 complaint.mp4

FFmpeg produces empty file sometimes
30 avril 2024, par Matan MalkaI am currently using ffmpeg and attempting to convert multiple PNG files to MP4 video.

My command is :

ffmpeg -y -r 10 -i "videos-reporter/MC4xMzg3NDI1MTY2Mjg1MTk=/b8a7ee17d8ecfd199edbc5edc9691698/screenshots/%04d.png" -vcodec libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p -vf "scale=1200:trunc(ow/a/2)*2","setpts=3.0*PTS" "videos-reporter/MC4xMzg3NDI1MTY2Mjg1MTk=/b8a7ee17d8ecfd199edbc5edc9691698/video.mp4"

Sometimes, I'm unsure when the ffmpeg creates a 1kb empty video file that cannot be played.

FFmpeg converting image sequence to video results in blank video [closed]
11 juillet 2019, par Brandon DurhamI’ve got a series of 361 .png files that I’m trying to convert to video, and for whatever reason the resulting video is just black. Here is the FFmpeg code I’m using :
ffmpeg -f image2 -i "FeatureTour_%05d.png" -r 30 -vcodec libx264 -b:v 9600k "FeatureTour.mp4"
The files are formatted correctly (
FeatureTour_00001.png
) and no errors are thrown. It just results in a 160kb mp4 files that’s black.Any idea what I’m doing wrong ?
EDIT
Here is my output after using the above code :
