Sur le site principal, une instance de mutualisation est définie par plusieurs choses : Les données dans la table spip_mutus ; Son logo ; Son auteur principal (id_admin dans la table spip_mutus correspondant à un id_auteur de la table spip_auteurs)qui sera le seul à pouvoir créer définitivement l’instance de mutualisation ;

ffmpeg2theora oggfwd not working with icecast2
6 décembre 2011, par achillesI have a camera streaming (mjpeg) in http://192.168.x.x/image (where x are the rest of the IP). I start my icecast2 server (Ubuntu 10.10) and then I stream using :
ffmpeg2theora -f mjpeg http://192.168.x.x/image -o /dev/stdout - | oggfwd localhost 8000 password /test
The mountpoint is created but the video is not showing on Firefox. I do see the video box but it's just infinitely showing the "thinking" icon and video does not show.
If I download a proper ogg file and do
cat proper_ogg_file.ogg | oggfwd localhost 8000 password /test
I see the video on the icecast server's website.
In addition I did :
ffmpeg2theora -f mjpeg http://192.168.x.x/image -o test_video.ogg
Once I stop the process (CTRL+C) and go to my Desktop where the video is saved and open it with VLC or any other media player, it plays the portion of the stream that I allowed to be recorded all the way up to pressing CTRL+C.
If I take that file and use the previous method :
cat test_video.ogg | oggfwd localhost 8000 password /test
I get the same issue as when I was directly piping the camera to stdout and then to oggfwd. So therefore I assume this is a "conversion" to ogg issue ? Can anybody help ? Any idea why i can't do that ?

How to reduce size of moov atom of H.264 movies to improve streaming start for smartphones ?

We are encoding in H.264+AAC and using the mp4 container.
We have a problem that long movies (60 minutes+) take a very long time to
start playing and have tracked this down to the large size of moov
atom for these movies.
For 110 minute movies the atom is as large as 4.2Mb which obviously takes a long
time to download to a smart-phone over 3G !Is there anyway to make the moov atom smaller ? We can reduce it bit
by dropping the audio sampling rate, but obviously anything below 22kHz
would not really be acceptable.We are using ffmpeg as the encoder, and MP4Box to move the metadata
to the front of the file. Is there any way to get it to make
a smaller moov ? Any other encoders out there which make a smaller moov ?For example...
Big size (280 Mb, 1h 49min) streamable mp4 (h.264, AAC) file have a big header size (4.2 Mb). File was encoded by two pass ffmpeg and MP4Box for replacing metadata into beginning of the file :

Get flv source from stream with php for ffmpeg
12 octobre 2012, par StephanI'm trying to automatically create thumbnails from different video sites like vimeo on server side with php and ffmpeg. I got the flv url with video-download-helper and created the thumbnails successfully with ffmpeg.
However, I fail at getting the flv url from my first curl response. VideoDonwloadHelper creates the url only after I clicked on the video from the "Content-Type : video/mp4" response - but how do I fetch it automatically on server-side without the DownloadHelper ?
