Premium Plugins now available on the Piwik Analytics Marketplace
2 novembre 2016, par Piwik Core Team — Community, Press ReleasesWe are super excited to announce the launch of three new premium plugins which are now available on the Piwik Marketplace : A/B Testing, Media Analytics, and Activity Log.
All three plugins are easy to use and come with 100% data ownership, documentation, integration with Piwik, powerful data exports and no data limits.
These first premium plugins and the new Marketplace capabilities have been designed and built with love by InnoCraft – the new company brought to you by the makers of Piwik.
1. A/B Testing
A/B Testing helps you grow your business by comparing different versions of your website or app to detect the most successful version that increases your sales, revenue, conversions, pageviews, and more.
A/B tests are also known as experiments or split tests. In an A/B test you show two or more different variations to your users (visitors) and the variation that performs better wins. When a user enters the experiment, a variation will be randomly chosen and the user will see this variation for all subsequent visits. Piwik A/B testing uses advanced statistical analysis to detect which variation performs better for your conversion goals and success metrics. Even small tests can increase your sales and conversions massively !

Who your audience are and what did people do before and after watching a video or listening to audio ? Many of the reports are also available in Real time, so you can gain insights and react quickly.

The activity log, also known as audit log or audit trail, improves your Piwik’s security and diagnostic by showing a chronological set of entries that provides documentary evidence of activities that happened in your Piwik. It allows Piwik Super Users to quickly review the actions performed by members of your organization or clients, and also lets every user review details of their own actions.

Making Sound To High To Hear Or Undetecable with Sox/FFMPEG
28 octobre 2016, par Devin DixonI want to make a sound that is too high to be detected by the human ear. From my understanding, humans can hear sounds between 20hz and 44000hz.
With sox, I am making a sound that is 50000hz. The problem is I can still hear it. The command I am using is this :
sox -n -r 50000 output.wav rate -L -s 50050 synth 3 sine
Either I have super good hearing or I am doing something wrong. How can I make this sound undetectable with SOX of FFMPEG ?

Why does Android kill a process spawned by the developed application ?
23 octobre 2013, par upregoI have a weird problem that I posted as a comment in Understanding Android Tight loops / Spin-On-Suspend error without any useful further comment.
Let be here the reproduced comment :
Is it possible for this to be happening also to android native codes, abstracting
which piece of software would be causing it? It's the only reason I know ffmpeg
(static binary custom compilation, n2.0.1 tag mint as it clones) is failing to me
on some devices and not in others (but fails in no device when launched over a v
algrind!! that, am now supposing, traps frequently the inner program)The problem, briefly, is that a compiled
ffmpeg
n2.0.1 is running OK in emulator and a Sony device, but failing with a segmentation violation in a Samsung device. The program was ran then fromvalgrind
in that Samsung device, with no fail.- I have some clues about what could be happening here. But do you know what is happening ?
- Can this Samsung phone run this
ffmpeg
compilation the same good the emulator and the Sony phone do ? If not, what are the next steps (trying - when possible - to avoid the use of the NDK) ?
