ffmpeg doesn't correctly work with mkv
26 avril 2017, par AlexNow I’m trying to trim mkv file with ffmpeg command.
ffmpeg -y -i 1.mkv -filter_complex "[0:0]trim=start=201:duration=28,setpts=PTS-STARTPTS" a.mp4
after processing a.mp4 is created with length(28s), but there is problems.
- Video is some flapped while playing.
- Audio is continued though playing has ended beyond 28s.
So could you guys tell me what can I do ?
When ffmpeg processing, it shows some errors as like this :
D:\Work\ffmpeg\files> ffmpeg -y -i 1.mkv -filter_complex "[0:0]trim=start=201:duration=28,setpts=PTS-STARTPTS" a.mp4

QML Video doesn't work robust with UDP streaming
4 avril 2017, par user2810472I am using QT/QML to write a player for raspberry-pi. I need to know what is the best practice of using Video QML element for a robust streaming play.
My QML code is like below,
Video {
id: streaming_video
width : parent.width
height : parent.height
autoPlay: false;
opacity: 0.0
fillMode : Image.Stretch
muted : false
}
function switch_udpstream_on() {
streaming_video.opacity = 1.0;
streaming_video.source = "udp://localhost:7777";
streaming_video.play();
}
function switch_udpstream_off() {
streaming_video.opacity = 0.0;
streaming_video.stop();
}Once I started streaming sender like below,
ffmpeg -re -i 519183632_4.mp4 -vcodec libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p -tune zerolatency -preset ultrafast -f mpegts udp://rpi-ip:7777
It shows the load of logs rpi player back end and start infinitely printing,
WARNING : No decoded frame to show at all. Let’ render black.
even though I stop sender, player is not stopping printing the above.
If I use
ffplay
instead, it works fine. -
FFMPEG PUSH to NGINX RTMP server does not work on interlaced content
1er septembre 2022, par Sambirwhen i add
-top 1 -flags +ildct+ilme
and push it to the NGINX RTMP server it is unable to "decode" and broadcast the stream. Am i missing something or is NGINX unable to process interlaced content ? FFMPEG works fine with both commands. I also saved the output to a file to check if there is any issues with the output but it looks fine.

My command which doesnt work on the NGINX RTMP server :

ffmpeg -timeout 10000000 -reconnect 1 -reconnect_at_eof 1 -reconnect_streamed 1 -reconnect_delay_max 2 -hwaccel_device 2 -hwaccel cuvid -vcodec h264_cuvid -vcodec h264_cuvid -i 'http://URL' -map 0:1 -map 0:2 -acodec libfdk_aac -b:a 96k -c:v h264_nvenc -gpu 2 -preset llhq -vprofile high -level 4.1 -top 1 -flags +ildct+ilme -color_primaries bt709 -color_trc bt709 -colorspace bt709 -color_range tv -rc:v vbr -qmin:v 18 -qmax:v 42 -b:v 6M -maxrate 6M -bufsize 12M -threads 0 -r 25 -g 100 -refs 2 -bf 3 -f flv 'rtmp://OUTPUT'

This code works fine :

ffmpeg -timeout 10000000 -reconnect 1 -reconnect_at_eof 1 -reconnect_streamed 1 -reconnect_delay_max 2 -hwaccel_device 2 -hwaccel cuvid -vcodec h264_cuvid -vcodec h264_cuvid -i 'http://URL' -map 0:1 -map 0:2 -acodec libfdk_aac -b:a 96k -c:v h264_nvenc -gpu 2 -preset llhq -vprofile high -level 4.1 -color_primaries bt709 -color_trc bt709 -colorspace bt709 -color_range tv -rc:v vbr -qmin:v 18 -qmax:v 42 -b:v 6M -maxrate 6M -bufsize 12M -threads 0 -r 25 -g 100 -refs 2 -bf 3 -f flv 'rtmp://OUTPUT'

The rtmp server then processes the stream and broadcasts it without any problems
