HTML5 audio and video support
13 avril 2011, parMediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.

Can't split 24bit flac files on the command line [closed]
21 mars 2023, par MartinI am trying to export a 24bit flac file in my ubuntu terminal. I've tried two different methods, but neither work.

Method 1 : shntool

when I run this command :

shntool split -f times.cue -O always -o lowq_full_silence.flac

where lowq_full_silence.flac was rendered in audacity as a flac file with level=0 and bit depth=16 bit, my command works.

but if i run this command :

shntool split -f times.cue -O always -o full_hq.flac

where full_hq.flac has level=8 and bit depth=24 bit
The command fails :

shntool [split]: warning: unsupported format 0xfffe (Unknown) while processing file: [full_hq.flac]
shntool [split]: error: cannot continue due to error(s) shown above

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shntool/+bug/2000794

Method 2 : ffmpeg

Trying to split the flac file with comma separated 'split points' input

ffmpeg -i "full_hq.flac" -c copy -map 0 -f segment -segment_times "22,441,556,559" "%d_output.flac"

But the output from this ffmpeg command has broken length metadata :

https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/4905

Is there a better way to split a high quality 24bit flac file into individual segments, where each exported segment file has correct length metadata ?

ffmpeg Transcoding Stops After Few Seconds [migrated]
15 avril 2018, par Salem FI’m trying to do this over week now with no success,
What’s I’m trying to do is transcoding video from live streaming source and downscale it with FFmpeg, but every time I start transcoding it broadcasting for 11 sec and stop. The last command I tried :
ffmpeg -re -i 'http://source.com/1034.ts' -preset ultrafast http://localhost:2052/feed1.ffm
I tried to download the .ts file with IDM and it finish downloading the file on the exact 12 Sec that FFmpeg stop trans coding on it.
Does that means that FFmpeg download that file as one segment and not continued reading the source video As what video players does usually. By the way, I tried with source with VLC player and it didn’t stop playing the the same source video.
I decided to pass FFmpeg command via FFserver config file
ffserver.conf
Launch ffmpeg -i 'http://source.com/1.ts' -copyinkf -codec copy
The stream works fine for a while but after testing couple sources I notice it’s struggle to trans-coding HD videos.
I guess the issue with my VPS KVM server being very limited CPU and RAM ( 128MB only) ! Since I tried using
ultrafast
preset but din’t solve the issue, another thing, I notice when I enableAVOptionVideo crf
setting onffserver.conf
trans-coding runs bit smoothly without frame-rate dropping.
Las my server usesXeon L5520
CPU which is outdated CPU specially I gout 1/4 power of V single core (if they count HT it will be 1/8 of the real core) : (# vlc -I dummy 'https://source.com/1034.ts' --sout '#standard{access=http,mux=flv,dst=localhost:2052}'

cutting video using ffmpeg cannot produce videos with specified length
22 juin 2021, par davidI have some mp4 videos and I want to split them into 2-second videos. my GOP is 2 Sec. for this aim I use the following command :

ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -c copy -map 0 -segment_time 00:00:02 -f segment -reset_timestamps 1 output%03d.mp4

but after splitting, my new videos have different duration times. some of them are 4 Sec, one of them is 3.67 Sec. why the duration time is different from the thing I specified in command ? my command is wrong ?
is it possible to split based on frame number ? for example each 120 frame ?
