    PHP et safe_mode activé
Une des principales sources de problèmes relève de la configuration de PHP et notamment de l’activation du safe_mode
La solution consiterait à soit désactiver le safe_mode soit placer le script dans un répertoire accessible par apache pour le site

  • Looking for a general purpose way to merge audio and video file and make an output have stereo audio with FFmpeg

21 février 2020, par Pineapple Joe

So have have the following FFmpeg command

    ffmpeg -i vidab.mp4 -i recab.webm  -filter_complex "[0:a]volume=0.2,apad[A];[1:a][A]amerge[Aout]" -map 0:v -map [Aout] -y mergeab.mp4

When the input files are played separately their audio is played equally through both headphones.

But after being merged the audio from the video is on the right side and the audio from the webm file is on the left side.

I see this in the output when I run the cmd

    [Parsed_amerge_2 @ 0x7fa0faf01bc0] No channel layout for input 1
[Parsed_amerge_2 @ 0x7fa0faf01bc0] Input channel layouts overlap: output layout will be determined by the number of distinct input channels

How can I adjust this so that the output file has the audio from both the inputs in equally in the left and right sides ?

Also is there a generic way to do this such that even different configurations (video has stereo and audio has mono ... or both have stereo) result in the Audio being split evenly.

I tried using the pan filter but there is something I am not understanding about how it works because either nothing happens or I flip left and right. But I am not getting even stereo.

fwiw here is the full output.

    ffmpeg -i vidab.mp4 -i recab.webm  -filter_complex "[0:a]volume=0.2,apad[A];[1:a][A]amerge[Aout]" -map 0:v -map [Aout] -y mergeab.mp4

  • Set name of matroska attachment using ffmpeg

2 juillet 2020, par Tobias Brohl

So when attaching files to a matroska container they get a name, normally their original name. However when you are running windows and you supply the full path to the file you want to attach, ffmpeg sets that full path as name of the attachment. How can I rename that attachment, preferably in the same command as the attachment process ?

  • Lossless compression of a sequence of similar grayscale images

    25 octobre 2020, par damien200

I would like to have the best compression ratio of a sequence of similar grayscale images. I note that I need an absolute lossless solution (meaning I should be able to check it with an hash algorithm).

    What I tried

I had the idea to convert my images into a video because there is a chronology between images. The encoding algorithm would compress using the fact that not all the scene change between 2 pictures. So I tried using ffmpeg but I had several problems due to sRGB -> YUV colorspace compression. I didn't understand all the thing but it's seems like a nightmare.

    Example of code used :

    ffmpeg -i %04d.png -c:v libx265 -crf 0 video.mp4 #To convert into video
ffmpeg -i video.mp4 %04d.png #To recover images

My second idea was to do it by hand with imagemagik. So I took the first image as reference and create a new image that is the difference between image1 and image2. Then I tried to add the difference image with the image 1 (trying to recover image 2) but it didn't work. Noticing the size of the recreated picture, it's clear that the image is not the same. I think there was an unwanted compression during the process.

    Example of code used :

composite -compose difference 0001.png 0002.png diff.png #To create the diff image
composite -compose difference 0001.png diff.png recover.png #To recover image 2

Do you have any idea about my problem ?
And why I don't manage to do the perfect recover with iamgemagik ?

    Thanks ;)
