    Dans MédiaSPIP, une rubrique a 2 noms : catégorie et rubrique.
    Les différents documents stockés dans MédiaSPIP peuvent être rangés dans différentes catégories. On peut créer une catégorie en cliquant sur "publier une catégorie" dans le menu publier en haut à droite ( après authentification ). Une catégorie peut être rangée dans une autre catégorie aussi ce qui fait qu’on peut construire une arborescence de catégories.
    Lors de la publication prochaine d’un document, la nouvelle catégorie créée sera proposée (...)

  • Récupération d’informations sur le site maître à l’installation d’une instance

    Utilité
    Sur le site principal, une instance de mutualisation est définie par plusieurs choses : Les données dans la table spip_mutus ; Son logo ; Son auteur principal (id_admin dans la table spip_mutus correspondant à un id_auteur de la table spip_auteurs)qui sera le seul à pouvoir créer définitivement l’instance de mutualisation ;
    Il peut donc être tout à fait judicieux de vouloir récupérer certaines de ces informations afin de compléter l’installation d’une instance pour, par exemple : récupérer le (...)

    Le problème du podcasting est à nouveau un problème révélateur de la normalisation des transports de données sur Internet.
    Deux formats intéressants existent : Celui développé par Apple, très axé sur l’utilisation d’iTunes dont la SPEC est ici ; Le format "Media RSS Module" qui est plus "libre" notamment soutenu par Yahoo et le logiciel Miro ;

  • FFmpeg sws_scale on changed area

    I was using sws_scale to convert a group of RGB32 images to YUV420 format. Each image is very similar to the previous one and they only differ on a rectangle region Q.

    My question is how to utilize Q to speed up the conversion process ? An additional parameter should be added to sws_scale function.

    sws_scale( ctx, in_plane, in_stride, sliceY, height, out_plane, out_stride, Q){
    
    // parameter out_plane stores the YUV420 data of previous image

  • OpenCV saving a video, or saving images and using ffmpeg

    I am currently taking in thermal data given to me and trying to save a video from elapsed time. I am using Python and OpenCV. My problem currently is I cannot find a way to save this video without sacrificing a lot of resolution. Currently I am saving each frame as a png in a directory and then trying to use ffmpeg to build a video after but the video looks like it was smudged. I also tried using a video writer in the script but that was even worse. Has anyone had this experience that may be able to help ? It would be very much appreciated

  • FFmpeg check channels of a 7.1 audio for silence

    This is a follow-up question from my previous question asked here, where I needed to look for silence within a specific audio track. Here is the ffmpeg life-saver solution where helps to get some metadata :

    ffmpeg -i file -map 0:a:1 -af astats -f null -

    But I have other type of input .mp4 files where they have one single track of 8 (i.e. 7.1) audio channels. Apparently these files are transcoded from an original file (somehow the 4 track stereos are squished into these files). Now similar to my previous, I need to know if the original file was 2-channel stereo or 5.1 (6) channel.

    How to know if a specific channel of an audio track (say Center channel) is silent/mute, possibly using ffmpeg ? Here is a sample .mp4 file.
