    MediaSPIP automatically converts uploaded files to internet-compatible formats.
    Video files are encoded in MP4, Ogv and WebM (supported by HTML5) and MP4 (supported by Flash).
    Audio files are encoded in MP3 and Ogg (supported by HTML5) and MP3 (supported by Flash).
    Where possible, text is analyzed in order to retrieve the data needed for search engine detection, and then exported as a series of image files.

  • Automated installation script of MediaSPIP

    To overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
    You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.

    La gestion de la ferme passe par l’exécution à intervalle régulier de plusieurs tâches répétitives dites Cron.
    Le super Cron (gestion_mutu_super_cron)
    Cette tâche, planifiée chaque minute, a pour simple effet d’appeler le Cron de l’ensemble des instances de la mutualisation régulièrement.   • How to match two audio files ?

    I am trying to develop script which compares two audio file.

    Lets say this is two audio music file recorded by Artist

    file1 : it is original song sung by an artist (Uploaded by admin)
    file2 : it is a file recorded by user. i.e user sings it and upload it to server

    now i want to check how closes is file2 to file1.

    Means i need to check if both songs match or not in terms of Lyrics, singing and all.

    I have searched many thing like audio fingerprinting , ffmpeg library and all it did not worked for me.

    I will go for any web technology you suggest.

    Please help me to find solution.

  • Flash Media Server Recording Delay

    I have an application where a user can record themselves singing along to a song. Once I receive the NetStream status event 'Record.Start' I start playing an audio file. Once the audio completes, I stop recording. Next, I have a script that runs FFMPEG to combine the recorded video/audio with the same music file. The problem I'm finding is that there is a noticeable delay between the recorded audio and the music. It seems also that this delay depends on network speed as it varies depending on the network. Can I determine this delay through the FMS dynamically ?
