• FFmpeg : Get volume of frame or short timespan

  I want to make a program that automatically deletes frames from an mp4 when the volume for those frames is below a given threshold. How can I get the volume of each frame ? Or, alternatively, the volume for time t in the video ? Or for timespan dt ?
  (I’m not committed to FFmpeg yet, or even to the mp4 format, so feel free to suggest alternatives.)

  I’m making a song downloader app in Node.js. I managed to get everything to work, the app downloads the song and downloads its artwork (image). So I have the mp3 file and jpg file. The only problem is attaching the jpg file to the mp3 file.

  I’m using the ffmetadata node.js module. I downloaded and installed its dependency "ffmpeg" cli.

  Now when I try to write the metadata to the mp3 file and attach the artwork it spits this error :

  Could not write header for output file #0 (incorrect codec parameters ?): Invalid argument

• symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64 on Mac when using Qt+opencv+ffmpeg

  I’m running a project using Qt+opencv+ffmpeg on Mac, but it comes to an error : symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64.

  When I use Clang (x86 64bit in /usr/bin) to compile, it shows

  I’m using OS X Yosemite 10.10.4. Does anybody know how to fix it ?
