Contribute to a better visual interface
13 avril 2011MediaSPIP is based on a system of themes and templates. Templates define the placement of information on the page, and can be adapted to a wide range of uses. Themes define the overall graphic appearance of the site.
Anyone can submit a new graphic theme or template and make it available to the MediaSPIP community. -

ffmpeg encoding leaves me with blank space at the end where the video pauses and there is nothing ahead
6 novembre 2022, par Nisarg DesaiI was trying to slice some of the video being played and clip it in mpv.net using a .lua script which uses ffmpeg to encode the webm output. ffmpeg sometimes leaves some seconds blank and without any video/audio ahead while clipping from source. Is there any solution to this ?

The code for the script is given below (was taken from here https://github.com/occivink/mpv-scripts) :

How to increase the contrast of old TV shows using ffmpeg ?
14 septembre 2022, par Turgut KalfaogluI have some old movies and their contrast levels appear low - the pictures are very soft. How can I increase the contrast of these movies using ffmpeg ?
I tried

ffmpeg -vf "pp=al" -crf 24 -c:a aac -b:a 48k -ac 1 -movflags +faststart

but the movie is still very washed out.

Install older version of FFmpeg (brew & git) [on hold]
28 mai 2015, par Franco CostaBefore I was able to use "brew versions in this case require ffmpeg 2.4.4 and would provide the following etc
2.4.4 git checkout 22254b4 /usr/local/Library/Formula/ffmpeg.rb
and then I’ll pipe the versions command through grep and then run the Git command :
brew versions ffmpeg | grep 2.4.4
2.4.4 git checkout 22254b4 /usr/local/Library/Formula/ffmpeg.rb
$ cd /usr/local/Library
$ git checkout 22254b4 /usr/local/Library/Formula/ffmpeg.rbinstall brew with all options but not required
but now with the new changes in git I am unable to install older version as it’s not listed. It will only allow me to install the latest version which unfortunately breaks the script I am currently using.
Any help would be great
