  • FFmpeg - Audio Tag | Galician

    I need your help on FFmpeg and an audio track tag.

    


    I'm generating a ProRes LT whose main language is Galician.

    


    I know that FFmpeg is based on List of ISO 639-2 codes but after several attempts, nothing helps. I tried "glg", "gal", "gl", "glc" but the audio remains untagged.

    


    For information, I made a test with MKVToolNix and it manages to tag the language.

    


    Could you help me to find the right solution to do the same with FFmpeg ?

  • Ffmpeg : copy chapter and remove tags mkv files

    I’m working with MKV files only. When I convert from original to target, video and audio works 100%. I however have issues copying the Chapters too, sometimes it works, other times not. The output file also contains 3 Tags I need to get rid of :

    Using MKVToolsNiX to check Output file :

    1. Entry - Global Tags
    2. Entries - Tags
    3. Entries - Tags

    My commandline looks like this :

    -map_metadata -1 -map 0:0 -map 0:1 -metadata:s:a:0 language=eng -metadata:s:v:0 language=eng -metadata:s:s:0 language=eng -c:v libx264 -s 1280x720 -pix_fmt yuv420p -b:v 2500k -r 30 -c:a ac3 -b:a 320k -ar 48000 -ac 6 -y

    Any help will be appreciated.
