    Dans MédiaSPIP, une rubrique a 2 noms : catégorie et rubrique.
    Les différents documents stockés dans MédiaSPIP peuvent être rangés dans différentes catégories. On peut créer une catégorie en cliquant sur "publier une catégorie" dans le menu publier en haut à droite ( après authentification ). Une catégorie peut être rangée dans une autre catégorie aussi ce qui fait qu’on peut construire une arborescence de catégories.
    Lors de la publication prochaine d’un document, la nouvelle catégorie créée sera proposée (...)

  • Récupération d’informations sur le site maître à l’installation d’une instance

    Utilité
    Sur le site principal, une instance de mutualisation est définie par plusieurs choses : Les données dans la table spip_mutus ; Son logo ; Son auteur principal (id_admin dans la table spip_mutus correspondant à un id_auteur de la table spip_auteurs)qui sera le seul à pouvoir créer définitivement l’instance de mutualisation ;
    Il peut donc être tout à fait judicieux de vouloir récupérer certaines de ces informations afin de compléter l’installation d’une instance pour, par exemple : récupérer le (...)

  • Support audio et vidéo HTML5

    MediaSPIP utilise les balises HTML5 video et audio pour la lecture de documents multimedia en profitant des dernières innovations du W3C supportées par les navigateurs modernes.
    Pour les navigateurs plus anciens, le lecteur flash Flowplayer est utilisé.
    Le lecteur HTML5 utilisé a été spécifiquement créé pour MediaSPIP : il est complètement modifiable graphiquement pour correspondre à un thème choisi.

  • Create Video Programmatically with Qt 5.0 [on hold]

    We have a QT application that renders programmatically generated QPixmaps one by one to the display and we would like to save this output to a video file.

    I know that in the past people have recommended using ffmpeg or opencv with Qt to do this. In Qt 5, however, the new QtMultimedia module seems to expose some of this type of functionality.

    It is now possible, for example, to save video from a camera source in Qt 5 by using the QMediaRecorder as described in http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qmediarecorder.html#details.

    With this new functionality, is there any way to use Qt 5 to save our programmatically generated video, or am I still better off using a third party library ?

  • Scalable solution for converting an image sequence to video

    We are developing a stop motion app for kids and schools.

    


    So what we have is :

    


      

    • A sequence of images and audio files (no overlapping audio, in v1. But there can be gaps between them)

      • 


    


    What we need to do :

    


      

    1. Combine the images to a video with a frame rate between 1-12 fps

      2. 


    2. Add multiple audio files at a given start times

      3. 


    3. encode with H265 to mp4 format

      4. 


    


    I would really like to avoid maintaining a VM or Azure batch jobs running ffmpeg jobs if possible.

    


    Is there any good frameworks or third party APIs ?
I have only found transloadit as the closes match but they don't have the option to add multiple audio files.

    


    Any suggestions or experience in this area is very appreciated.

    


  • New proposed ePrivacy Regulation and why Piwik might not need tracking consent compared to Google Analytics & co

    The EU is proposing new ePrivacy Regulations. The proposed Regulation on Privacy and Electronic Communications will increase the protection of people’s private life and open up new opportunities for business.

    The proposal mentions several changes for example to the “Cookie Law” where no longer a cookie consent will be needed when the cookies improve the user’s internet experience, for example to remember the shopping cart history or when completing a form over several pages.

    However, consent to track a user’s behaviour may be needed in the future, unless the analytics data collection is hosted on the first-party website.

    From TheRegister : O’Neil noted a minor change in which visitors to a website for analytics purposes do not require consent, as long as any personal data collected is only processed by the first party.
