    Dans MédiaSPIP, une rubrique a 2 noms : catégorie et rubrique.
    Les différents documents stockés dans MédiaSPIP peuvent être rangés dans différentes catégories. On peut créer une catégorie en cliquant sur "publier une catégorie" dans le menu publier en haut à droite ( après authentification ). Une catégorie peut être rangée dans une autre catégorie aussi ce qui fait qu’on peut construire une arborescence de catégories.
    Lors de la publication prochaine d’un document, la nouvelle catégorie créée sera proposée (...)

  • Récupération d’informations sur le site maître à l’installation d’une instance

    Utilité
    Sur le site principal, une instance de mutualisation est définie par plusieurs choses : Les données dans la table spip_mutus ; Son logo ; Son auteur principal (id_admin dans la table spip_mutus correspondant à un id_auteur de la table spip_auteurs)qui sera le seul à pouvoir créer définitivement l’instance de mutualisation ;
    Il peut donc être tout à fait judicieux de vouloir récupérer certaines de ces informations afin de compléter l’installation d’une instance pour, par exemple : récupérer le (...)

    I’m using avcodec H264 decoder in my project. I receive NAL units from network, stick together NALs from same frame (additional header is added on network layer) and than pass to the decoder. I was wondering if frame sequence number is encoded into NAL unit - it would be logical, as we need the reference to IDR frames.

    If this information is present - how can I extract it ?

    Right now I looking into ITU-T H.264 specification, which is quite complex I can admit. So far I have not found the answer to my question.

    I have been surfing the net for some time to get basic understanding of media framework in android. As part of this, to display video we have media player class or video view component which can easily display the video. When we have such solution provided by the framework itself, then why there are few components avaiable like SDL [ Simple Direct Media Layer], which claims the same functionality as video view ?

    How both are different ?

  • Process videos on Azure VM

    I am building an application that will process uploaded video. Each uploaded video will be trimmed into multiple shorter parts and all the cuts will be concatenated to create a highlight of the original file. All the processing is done with ffmpeg.

    I am using Azure File Storage, to upload the videos and be able to access them via Samba layer.
    I also have an Azure VM where I mounted the shared folders.

    What is the best approach on the worker ?

    • Should I build a console app and run it as a windows server inside an azure VM ?

    • Is there another way of doing things ?

    I am looking for a way that can be scaled up in production.

    If there another way of doing everything I described above ?
