  • Automated installation script of MediaSPIP

    25 avril 2011, par

To overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.
The documentation of the use of this installation script is available here.

  • I use ffmpeg dinamically to edit a local hosted video to be streamed on iPhone over 3G [on hold]

3 octobre 2014, par Luchian Chivoiu

I use ffmpeg dinamically to edit a local hosted video to be streamed on iPhone over 3G .

    I use this line :
    "ffmpeg -i C :\file1.mp4 -s 640x480 -r 30000/1001 -b:a 56k -bt 40k -b:v 50k -maxrate 10M -bufsize 10M -coder 0 -bf 0 -refs 1 -ar 48000 -ab 52k C :\file2.mp4" and it doesn’t work to open on iPhone the transformed file called "file2.mp4".
I use Web Api and C# to call the ffmpeg locally and the resulted file opens on the browser but still doesn’t want to stream to an iPhone over 3G only if it’s over WiFi.

Here Apple explains the process but I still didn’t get it work .

  • Recorded video from iPhone rotated 180 degrees on FB, Vimeo, Youtube

    17 février 2017, par Junho

    it’s my first question.

My question is this. I developed some app and the app records a video.

The problem is that the recorded video on iPhone looks rotated 180 degrees in FB, Vimeo, Youtube after sharing it. But it appears normally on iMessage, Instagram. I’m using FFmpeg while recording it.

Could you let me know the cause of the problem and the solution on the code ?

  • Merge two or more video files of any format using FFmpeg in iPhone

    20 juillet 2012, par Subhash

Is there any direct command in FFmpeg to merge videos in iPhone. I need to do this programmatically by setting the command line argument to the FFmpeg containing the input movie files to merge and the output file name.

I just wanted to merge two .mov movie files using FFmpeg. I was trying to do this in iPhone where I was creating a command line argument containing two video fies to merge as an input parameter and the destination video file as output parameter and then calling main method of FFmpeg. But for merging videos using FFmpeg first we need to convert it to mpg format and then pass the movie files in mpg format in the command line format. This is the only way found to merge the video using FFmpeg as far as I know. Is there anybody out there done this in a different way ?
